  This was my first restaurant job and probably the most memorable job on my list. At 18, I was green and new, but within 3 months I was a trainer and within 6 I was giving 8 hour classroom training classes to new hires. Within a year I was training people to open locations nationally and by the time I left I had trained people to open internationally in Picadilly Circus and Hong Kong. I loved that job and was very sorry to see it close.

  While I worked at this location, Cheesecake Faactory Aventura was in the top ten highest volume restaurants in the nation. As a host, I did the usual routine of seating, arranging, and preparing tables as well as guest interaction. However, in such a high paced environment, hosting was a truly important aspect and meant the difference between the restaurant having a 8,000 dollar night and a 12,000 dollar night.

  Chili's was a great corporation to work for. I started as a server and within a few months I was a trainer. I gave classrooms back of the house and trained servers on the floor. I also helped with scheduling new employees. Other job duties included nightly cash outs and checking servers out at the end of the night.

  Bar Manager

  I absolutely loved my time at William's Island. I was scouted to open the Island Cafe. I was a shift lead for servers as well as the bar manager. I regularly worked six days a week behind the bar, did all of the ordering and inventory, and managed a wine cellar that was so huge it had it's own walk-in cooler inside.

  One of the most wonderful rides of my life! This was a dream job, and one I could have stayed at forever.. but alas, times change and bars close. I created and maintained the Boom Wilton Manors nightclub Social Networking and Online Presence. I gained 1,700 likes through targeting, direct word of mouth marketing.

  Currently, I am a Full Time student at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale while I pursue a degree in Game Art and Design. I intend to make video game controllers for people with disabilities. While I am working towards that goal, I have created a strong internet presence for myself that has provided me with a passive revenue stream. Upon my graduation in 2016, I intend to build my own company. Instead of waiting, I am using my considerable skills to create the foundation I will need to do so at this very moment. Show less
