      The Warner House is one of the oldest and finest house museums in a city full of history. This seasonal position allowed me the honor of working for my second National Historic Landmark, containing the oldest known surviving wall murals in the United States. As House Manager I oversaw the staff, accounting, marketing and PR, and daily operations, while serving as liaison between the site and its Board of Directors.

      Center for Integrated Research on the Environment (CIRE) is a research facility based at the University of Montana. My work with CIRE has involved several projects within different facets of the Cultural Resource Management field. As Museum Registrar, I oversaw the administration and progress of teams of museum specialists as they cleaned, cataloged and packed a collection of US Navy artifacts. Currently, as Heritage Resource Project Manager, I am part of a two-person Historic Preservation team, traveling around the country to US Air Force bases and assessing their historic buildings. Upholds the Historic Preservation Ordinance:Historic Preservation Program (Municipal Code 2.64) and coordinating program activitiesand administration with the BSB Historic Preservation Commission (HPC).-Performs determinations of eligibility for listing properties in the National Register of Historic-Places and consolidate findings on Montana Historic Property Inventory Forms for review bythe HPC.-Conduct- design review of applicable projects proposing preservation, rehabilitation orrestoration of historic properties or compatible infill construction in historic districts. Adviseproject proponents on preservation design standards and consolidate findings on a-Certificate of Appropriateness for review by the HPC.-Reviews permit applications for demolition or relocation of historic properties. Advise projectproponents on demolition considerations and consolidate findings on a Certificate of-Appropriateness for review by the HPC.-Consults with the Montana State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), BSB HPC, andapplicable Federal Agencies on Section 106 undertakings in Butte-Silver Bow.-Advises the BSB Chief Executive, Council of Commissioners, Urban Revitalization Agency,Planning, Community Enrichment and other departments on preservation program activitiesand recommendations.-Prepares and submits semi-annual Certified Local Government reports to SHPO.-Establishes and maintains close cooperative working relationships with BSB officials,department heads, compliance agencies, NGOs/citizen groups, other BSB employees andthe public.-Seeks and administers grant funds for rehabilitation of BSB-owned historic properties or otherpreservation projects with a public benefit.-Promotes and educates the public on the cultural and economic values of historicpreservation.
