  Temporary Traffic Data Collection Technician

  I collected and analyzed traffic data on county roads and performed research on the data. After collecting the data, I provided technical documentation and reports for the civil engineering team. I also worked on traffic sight studies, construction reports, traffic signal coordination, repairing traffic counters, specialized location counts, and road surveys. The main programs I utilized were ArcGIS, ArcMap, DCGIS, TimeMark VIAS, JAMAR, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

I also traveled to Michigan to work on multiple Consumers Energy projects for surveying and other field work.

  I design and create products for customers’ projects ranging from prototypes to large scale production. I continuously improve manufacturing processes by increasing efficiency, ensuring safety, reducing overall waste, analyzing each process, and implementing Lean Six Sigma. I use programs such as Inventor and AutoCAD to Create 3D models and fully defined prints. I also provide customers with estimates and quotations for their projects utilizing software such as Epicor (ERP Software) and ProNest. Some examples of projects I designed are apartment stair stringers, heat exchangers, fertilization dryers, building siding, fixture assemblies and structural support for buildings. I work with many manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, welding, machining, forming, shearing, tube laser cutting, plasma cutting, flame cutting, sawing, rolling, plate sawing and more.
