      Aug 2013 - Jan 2017

As the Air Force Unspecified Minor Military Construction (UMMC) Program Manager, I facilitate the annual program build ($30M) across nine Major Commands, validate project statutory and regulatory compliance, coordinate the draft project list among multiple responsible agencies and brief Air Force senior leadership for final approval. During program execution, I routinely make funding decisions based on project executability and availability of funds. I prepare project congressional notification packages and coordinate approval between Headquarters Air Force Facilities Division and Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment & Energy. I issue contract authority to advertise, authority to award and regularly team with project managers and base personnel to ensure successful project completion.Prior to the annual program build, I author and coordinate the UMMC business rules, which include the project scoring model, supporting documentation templates, data management spreadsheets and milestones. Show less Lead Mechanical Engineer and energy technical expert on the Asset Visibility Team (AVT) responsible for conducting level 2 energy evaluations and facility condition assessments (FCA). Duties included analyzing complex facility mechanical systems to identify energy conservation measures, developing energy models to estimate savings, and drafting summary reports for Field Operating Agency, Major Command and Installation review/execution. - Executed energy evaluations and FCA on 9.2M square feet of facility space at six installations and identified $14.2M in energy savings opportunities. - Trained AVT members on energy evaluation principles and developed software tool kits for analyzing and managing data. - Provided engineering expertise to the Sustainment Management System Implementation Working Group for AF-wide rollout of BUILDER software to meet new Integrated Priority List (IPL) business rules.
