  Assurance of effective creation & implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) & technical safety aspects within Asset Integrity Management system (AIMS) to prevent major accidents hazards. This includes Development & implementation of PSM system to ensure compliance with codes, standards & industry best practices. Provides governance for process safety elements. Develop, maintain & embed Process Safety procedures, guidelines which support plant asset integrity. Maintain process safety information up-to-date. Identify safety barriers and measure their effectiveness.Provide technical input to Management of Change (MOC), Pre-start up Safety Review (PSSR), Root cause analysis &incident investigation. Conduct risk assessments (QRA, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, FTA, FMEA, &ETA. Manage & develop tools to monitor and measure KPIs of performance of safety barriers. Manage &develop Barriers Management System as primary tool to evaluate asset integrity performance and visualize cululative risk. Provides requisite for reports e.g. engineering studies.Set up the initiatives, campaigns, and communications for improving process safety culture.Lead ALARM management system rationalization team and provide technical support.Facilitate SIL & LOPA analysis for all safety functions in the plant along with their validation.Provide fire and gas detection requirements/design/ mapping for further detailed engineering.Perform Fire protection assessment and calculations.Provide ALARP demonstartion for high risk scenarios.Provide technical support and consultation in Hazardous area classifications.
