  I was a teacher's assistant for Dr. Joanna Neville in the women's studies program at the University of Florida. As a teacher's assistant, my responsibilities included: grading student papers, holding office hours for students to ask questions about course material, leading discussions for students to reflect upon the topics discussed in class, connecting students to campus resources, and assisting the professor in lecture. The Florida Social Cognition and Emotion Lab is under the supervision of Dr. Erin Westgate. As a research assistant, my responsibilities include: running participants in the research study, organizing data and research findings, reading and analyzing scientific journals, coordinating meetings with participants, and conducting experiements with participants through presentations and guided questions.
