He also carried out lesson planning for enrichment programmes to help garner interest in science in lower secondary students. In addition to this, he also mentored Secondary Four students on laboratory skills so as to prepare them for their O Levels.

  Assisted Dr Shawn Lum from the Asian School of the Environment to conduct research into the possible causes of unusual mass flowering events which occurred during 2019. This research resulted in the affirmation of previously proposed theories by Dr Yu Yun Chen from National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan.
