Provided direct support to 2-Star General during Air Force Materiel Command's 12-to-5 Center reorganization effort, consolidating Edwards, Eglin, and Arnold AFB into the unprecedented Air Force Test Center. Daily responsibilities including liaison to subordinate units' generals and commanders, coordination and management of materials and meetings, IT support for various digital products, streamlining and innovation of inter-office communication to reduce redundancy, time, and effort. Particularly excelled in rapidly tracking down contacts for the General’s needs and maintaining relationships with them, resulting in a vast personal network and rapport across AFMC with senior-level Air Force leaders unusual for a junior officer. Show less As programs for the B-1 Lancer entered Developmental Test phase, management of its execution and personnel was my responsibility. Primary duty as a Test Conductor was organization and prioritization of test points to be executed on a mission's sortie, execution and pace of test event sequences during the sortie by being the sole radio communication between the test jet and the control room/engineers, and debriefing the aircrew upon landing for the mission summary. As an ITC and Lead, duties included:• Program schedule deconfliction through the B-1 Mission Planning Group, a weekly meeting of all active B-1 program’s Program Managers to determine the next two months of sorties based on priority and urgency. • The test points to be completed on each sortie for each program, the backup plan should that sortie cancel, and the progression of the test points to follow.• Air Force aircrew availability to fly the schedule’s sorties• The range to operate the aircraft inside (to include off station such as NAWC China Lake, Echo Range, Point Mugu Sea Range, and out-of-state sites such as Nevada Test and Training Range and Dyess AFB)• Instrumentation personnel responsible for recording flight data, to include that the specific instrumentation required for all testpoints is met and maintained throughout the sortie• Up to five discipline engineers, experts on various aspects of the system under test• Instructor Test Conductor, training new operation engineers/test conductors, coordinating with other fellow ITCs to familiarize them to the test conduct process• Maintain and enforce "Aircraft Operating Limitations" records, an active and fluctuating list of performance restrictions particular to specific B-1's based on the experimental system installed on it. Programs participated: RMIP (radar), SB-15 (consolidated block), VSDU (glass cockpit), LCTP II (targeting pod capability), INSR (navigation), FIDL (data link), Sniper 3.7 (targeting pod software) Show less
