  Working in a lab under the Department of Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior, I analyzed behavior of pre- and post-injection mice to Excel sheets to assist research progress and perform lab maintenance tasks such as mice cage and living environment check. I also got trained to perform wet mounting on mice brain samples and established collaborative interactions with lab members by facilitating discussions during work.   Participating in a lab at Institute of Molecular Biology in Taiwan, I researched CRISPR knockout in primary neurons, which performed gene editing techniques and confirmed the research method was successful and such gene editing will have a downstream effect.
