      Doing research into, developing and evaluating of: a digital assessment instrument, for a beter selection in the care sector, nursing homes, convalescent homes and homecare. This thesis is part of a long-term project called 'To a better (digital) selection in nursing homes and home care'.The project was focused on the development of a digital selection test called the DSTV. This is a selection test for applicants for the position of student nurse (level 3), BBL (learning and working).This test was executed as a pilot during the project. Research about the DSTV was done among the target group when they took the test. A written survey was developed for that purpose.Also the reliability of two of the four parts of the DSTV was researched.Based on the replies of the respondents during the pilot a reference group was formed for two of the four parts, the cartoon test and the big five test.The development of the digital selection test is based on literature review and interviews with the care organizations. Conducting the pilot (for my graduation project) took a total of three months. In these three months 121 applicants for the student nurse (level 3) and nurse (level 4) position filled in the pilot of the digital selection test.The project will have a major impact on the final selection instrument for student nurse (level 3), BBL (learning and working).
