    • Roses Chinese and Thai Restaurant

      Jan 2017 - Dec 2018
      Waitress and Kitchen Hand

This role was very useful in developing my customer service skills, as well as my ability to work in a high stress environment. As I was one of only three waitstaff employees in a large restaurant, and I mostly worked alone, I quickly learned to multitask with my responsibilities including running the front of house, plating and serving hot dishes, making entrees, cleaning the restaurant and kitchen, food preparation and cleaning all dishes. I greatly enjoyed working here and it remains fond in my memories as my first "real" job. I will forever be grateful to my employers for taking me on and teaching me skills that i will use for the rest of my career. Show less

      Jan 2019 - May 2020
      Front Desk Receptionist

This role required me to answer and direct customer inquiries, financial processing, paperwork and filing of sensitive documents, assisting sales agents and property managers in daily duties, office cleaning, customer service and to constantly be developing new manual and computer based skills as the company was merging with another and switching to paperless. I greatly enjoyed my time there and the skills that the team and the role taught me.
