  • Plans health and wellness-related activities throughout each of the agency’s programs.• Regularly visits each program to assess the progress of fitness and wellness activities.• Develops health or wellness-related curricula for programs to incorporate into their group sessions and other activities.• Integrates wellness/fitness program initiatives into the agency’s culture and organizational mission.• Collaborates with clinical, medical, food service, and administrative staff to create environments that promote health and wellness.• Tracks attendance, participation, and performance data related to wellness activities.• Maintains fitness and wellness-related schedules, records, and reports.• Selects and supervises any wellness contractors and approves wellness-related invoices.• Prepares or implements wellness-related budgets and operational, purchasing, or maintenance plans.• Recommends and approves new program or service offerings to promote health, wellness, and fitness.• Conducts or facilitates training sessions or seminars on wellness activities.• Evaluates the success of the wellness activities by determining relevant satisfaction levels.• Researches potential sources of funding for wellness and fitness activities and equipment.• Serves on agency committees as requested.• Carries out additional duties essential to the above-stated responsibilities as assigned.
