Able to handle money quickly, prepare, cook pearls, cook tea and serve the drinks.- Takes initiative to assist customers if needed, learning to communicate with customers and adapted to fast-moving environment.I worked in liho and learnt how to shake drinks for customers as well as cook the tea and pearls. As my store in charge was pregnant at the time I joined liho, I would always ensure she feels comfortable while working and also remind her to hydrate at times. Being able to work closely with her was a good opportunity as she taught me more stuff that would benefit me in the future. She taught me how to calmly approach customers when problems are faced and how to promote new drinks efficiently without wasting resources. She taught me how to market the drinks and I am very glad to be able to work hand in hand with her. Show less

Able to handle money quickly, prepare,cook and serve the food.- Takes initiative to assist customers if needed, learning to communicate with customers and adapted to fast-moving environment.I am thankful to my current manager to have put in a lot of trust in me and always pushing me to be the best of my abilities. When I first joined, communicating was quite challenging as I was working with people of different age groups and races. As my Chinese language is not the best, I had a hard time communicating with my manager however slowly, I adapted . At that time there were not many part-timers hence I would always work with the full timers who are from Myanmar so there was abit of a language barrier as there would be times I could not understand what they were trying to explain to me but overtime, I also adapted as I work more. During my holidays, I would work up till 6 days a week because I believe that if I have a goal in mind, I should work for it. During the holidays, my motivation to work would be to pay for my driving license hence, I believe that it is important to set a goal and work towards it. When problems are faced back when I 1st started, I watched as how my manager took charge and handled the situation, slowly I picked out skills on how to tackle problems faced and also how to teach new comers. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to work in Tori-Q. Show less
