      The Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) is a joint line between the Thomson Line and the Eastern Region Line. The 43km TEL will add 31 new stations to the existing rail network, with 7 interchange stations, which will link to the East-West Line, North-South Line, North-East Line, Circle Line and the Downtown Line. Project Information: Construction of the Tanjong Rhu Station (T303) is under the Joint Venture of Bachy Soletanche – Wai Fong. Mott MacDonald and GWC consulting are the A/E (Advance Engineering) consultants and QPS (Qualified Person Supervision) respectively. It is an SGD 283 million contract consisting of a 136L x 24W x 15D station (with two entrances) and 770m cut and cover tunnel, both following a top-down construction method. The tunnel portion above the existing KPE follows the open cut excavation method of construction.
