It was a new implementation for the client (Direct Sales sales channel) to pay their sales employees progressively within a fiscal month and needed some tricky logic to be implemented and tested without breaking the functionality for other sales channels. Shitij directly worked with the client to ensure a smooth implementation and his efforts were well appreciated by business for enabling a smooth go live and being on time as per business expectations.He took ownership to resolve a recurring performance issue with one of the key production jobs which was badly impacting both the fiscal payment closure activities as well as daily reports availability SLA. After the tuning efforts lead and driven by him, the job has started completing consistently within 30 minutes whereas earlier it used to take 2.5 to 3 hours and many times it was failing due to the load on the system.
