My doctoral work is a critical reading of cosmopolitanism in Amitav Ghosh’s Ibis Trilogy along the vectors of nineteenth century Opium trade. My M.Phil., dissertation is a study on a phenomenon called 'Textual Refraction' which deals with aspects of storytelling. The work closely looks at select Sandman narratives in their varied forms, and at Neil Gaiman's graphic novel series 'The Sandman' in particular.
