      May 2006 - Jun 2011
      R&D Engineer

At Sonora, we fought the rising tide of healthcare costs by providing an alternative to OEM repair of medical imaging equipment. I specified processes and custom repair parts used to refurbish ultrasound probes. As an R&D Engineer, I specified repair for Acuson V5M TEE probes, Oldelft Pediatric probes and GE probes. (For the 300+ repairs performed per my V5M specification, there have been NO warranty returns.) These have been great revenue generators and customer confidence builders at Sonora. Additionally, I am author of a patent for a Universal Probe Holder that connects several manufacturer's probes for safety testing eliminating the need for multiple adapters. UNISYN is ISO 9001 certified organization and maintains a Medical Device Manufacturer Quality Management System. Show less
