    • Camera World

      Nov 2015 - Jan 2016
      Photo Lab Technician & Operations

At Camera World, I split my time between the photo lab and the shipping and operations department. In the photo lab I worked as part of a team responsible for processing film, printing photos from both digital and film formats, and colour correcting images. In addition, I often supported customers with printing needs and film questions. In the shipping and operations department, I often worked solo packaging and shipping high value camera and film equipment, maintaining store inventory, and working at a fast pace to ensure timely deliveries. • KILLER BURGER

      Feb 2016 - Mar 2018
      Crew Lead

As Crew Lead, I managed multiple shifts of up to 10 people a week in a high-volume, fast-paced Downtown restaurant environment. Working amongst a large crew required concise and effective communication on my end, both written and verbal. This ensured smoothly run shifts, and appropriate preparedness for the following shift's leader. I was a valued leader known for my trustworthiness, and maintaining relationships with all of my co-workers that made them feel respected and appreciated.

I collaborated frequently with program leads and other non-designers to organize complex and information-dense schedules, design informational posters and other print materials, and create engaging and exciting digital media assets under tight deadlines. In addition, I assisted in updating the wayfinding systems in the Academic and Student Recreation Center, as well as Smith Student Union. Show less
