      As forests campaigner based in Brussels, my role is: - to design, lead and deliver on the EU campaign's objectives;- to influence and ultimately change EU legislation that allows companies and financial institutions to destroy climate critical forests. This is done through active lobbying and engagement with key policymakers and stakeholders; - to conduct policy analysis and identify policy and advocacy opportunities;- to draft and support communications outputs; - to contribute to and promote Global Witness' investigations that expose companies and finance behind deforestation and human rights violations to key policymakers and stakeholders;- to engage in campaigning efforts with other NGOs and global partners, in particular Indigenous groups.
