  Katinka is someone who loves life and wants to experience it to the full. She has been in the advertising industry for 13 years, starting at Hunt Lascaris for 8 years, and joining Ogilvy on KFC for 5 years . Over the years, her sole purpose has been to sell the best creative ideas. She has worked on brands like Nando's, City Lodge, Tiger Brands, Standard Bank, e.tv and SABC, National Brands, Sunair, Spar, KFC, Cadbury, &Beyond and Pendorings. Over the years she has won numerous awards:Various bronze, silver, gold and a Grand Prix Apex from 2002 - 2010. A silver pencil for D&AD for City Lodge radio, as well as a TV finalist at 'The one show' for 'Soggy pants'. This became SA's most loved commercial of 2006! On KFC, she has received various Loerie nominations. She also wrote an entry for KFC into the Sunday Times' Marketing organisation of the year, and was awarded Gold. She was recently privileged enough to have the opportunity to visit the Cannes Festival where some of her Cadbury work were finalists. In January 2012, she joined new hot-shot agency M & C Saatchi Abel in Gauteng as Head of Account Management.Katinka loves to sing, run and shared her home with her loving husband Harry and their two dogs.Katinka is very interested in people and is studying through UCT to become a life coach. She mentors and coaches people on the side and loves to inspire people to reach their full potential.
