  • Database design for Evans & Sutherland 4500 Image Generators in U.S.A using EASIEST toolkit. Updated some tank and plane models.• Electrical and database maintenance of E&S 4500 Image Generators for 3 years warranty period.• Software development/debugging in ground vehicle simulation project in Turkey: a M48/Leopard tank simulator system. The IOS software was developed with Borland C++ Builder under Windows NT for simulation control station, with Visual C++ under Windows NT for simulation hosts and with Borland C++ under DOS for industrial computers connecting the simulator hardware to the hosts. The projects involved DIS networking, computer graphics, TCP/IP communication, RS485 communication and real time programming.• Maintenance management of M48/Leopard tank simulator system in Ankara between 2000 and 2002.   Developed Windows DirectX based Image Generator application for tank simulators.Image Generator sample movie can be found here; http://sii-inc.com/news.htm• Enhanced PC based Image Generator to use in ADNAN ground simulator project in Malaysia. IR and night vision displays, rain, snow animations added using Vertex and Pixel shaders. Symbology Generator re-written using SVG file format.• Developed PC based Image Generator, a 3D runtime engine using DirectX 9 SDK and Visual Studio, named SII Predator, used for SIBMAS Armored Vehicle Simulator in Malaysia. The system is based on Intel processors running Windows NT/2000. IG can render 3D database in real-time with at least 60 Hz. Many ground and air 3D models are updated using MultiGen-Creator tool.• Developed scene graph from scratch for Image Generator, which supports traditional simulation data formats such as Open Flight (MultiGen-Paradigm) for model generation, Terra Page (Terrex) for terrain generation, but also can support model packages including 3D Studio and other major 3D modeling tools. • Developed texture frame based animations for Image Generator, point sprite based particle systems, some pixel and vertex shaders, developed HUD (2D rendering) for reticles. • Wrote a threaded DLL for NDIS communication. IG communicates with other applications using NDIS Ethernet packets. • Debugged and modified HOST application, which is developed using Rational Rose Real-Time C++ IDE (enables writing programs using UML and C++).• Developed a voice communication application over TCP/IP network to simulate radio communication in simulator systems.
