Oversaw integrated Flight Operations of Orion across preflight planning & training phase as well as in-flight. Mission successfully completed in December 2014.STS-132 LEAD FLIGHT DIRECTOR - Responsible for Space Shuttle crew & orbiter during mission to the ISS. Primary mission objective was assembly of the ISS via delivery & installation of the Russian module, MRM-1 or "Rassvet". Mission successfully completed in May 2010.STS-129 LEAD FLIGHT DIRECTOR - Responsible for Space Shuttle crew & orbiter during ISS assembly & logistics mission. Primary mission objective was to deliver & install the U.S. built External Logistics Carriers (ELCs) 1 & 2 loaded with spare equipment for ISS. Mission successfully completed in November 2009.STS-126 LEAD FLIGHT DIRECTOR - Responsible for Space Shuttle crew & orbiter during ISS assembly and logistics mission. Primary mission objective was to deliver, install & return a Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM). Transfer & installation of the Regenerative Life Support Equipment was completed enabling ISS to expand the crew size from 3 to 6. Mission successfully completed in November 2008.STS-122 LEAD FLIGHT DIRECTOR - Responsible for Space Shuttle crew & orbiter during ISS assembly mission. Primary mission objective was to deliver & install the European Space Agency's (ESA) "Columbus" laboratory module. Mission successfully completed in February 2008. Show less Served as Flight Controller for 31 Space Shuttle missions from within Mission Control in Houston. NASA certified expert in Guidance, Navigation and Control systems and mission operations as a flight controller (call-sign "GNC"). Mission support covered all phases of Space Shuttle flight including launch and orbital insertion, on-orbit rendezvous, docking and proximity operations, payload operations, payload retrieval and deployment using robotics, undocking and separation, deorbit, entry and landing operations. Missions include numerous flights to the Russian Space Station Mir, multiple Hubble Space Telescope servicing missions, Inertial Upper Stage (IUS) payload deployment during STS-93, most of the International Space Station assembly missions and the Shuttle RADAR Topography Mission (SRTM).
