  In 2016 and 2017, Xia deals with player misconduct issues and controversial calls within the AFLC. He also assigns officials to games all around China. Starting from 2018, Xia serves as the Chief of Official Association for AFLC South Division, and officiate games.In June 2019, the AFLC has changed its name to China National Football League (CNFL).In September 2019, Xia has also started his first officiating in the City Bowl, another nation-wide, amateur football league in China.

  Started in October 2015, the NCAA Football Tiger Talk Show (Chinese “虎说霸道”) is dedicated to promote the college football and its culture. The commentators of the program are alumni of colleges in the United States, and they have a strong sports background (sports journalist, former high school athletes, sports related major, etc.). The first season of the show has had over 2000 views so far, and it keeps getting popular in the sports world of China. The program is currently looking for sponsorship.In 2017, NCAA Football Tiger Talk Show changes its name to Student Section Network.Wengang Xia's focus majorly lies in the Big Ten Conference and the Big 12 Conference. He is responsible for managing Coach Department in all Skyway branches, coordinating coach training, as well as course updates.Starting from September 2017, Xia works as Deputy Manager of Coaching Dpt., Skyway Guangzhou Branch.
