  Led interdisciplinary research for Dr. David Sedley on the emergence of the mechanical model of human thought in France. Produced summaries of several articles, as well as three books: Reckoning with Matter, La fabrique de la pensée, and Novo Teatro di machine et edificii per varie et sicure operationi. Synthesized research findings into a final 9-page document, describing how the development of complex machines (capable of taking over human tasks) influenced the understanding of the “material mind.” Show less

  Continued to work on a systematic review on PTSD after the Covid-19 pandemic with Dr. Salma Abdalla. Drafted a manuscript and presented a poster at CUGH (Feb. 20-23, 2025). Conducted a systematic review on PTSD after the Covid-19 pandemic with Dr. Salma Abdalla. Searched four large databases, screened 4018 abstracts, assessed 712 articles for eligibility, and ultimately extracted, analyzed, and reported on data from 147 articles. Collaborated with five other members of Dean Sandro Galea’s research team on various projects, including the WHO Healthy Cities Indicators and a meta-analysis on social causes of death.
