      DFDS is Northern Europe's largest shipping and logistics company. I worked in the Seaways branch providing conferences, team building, kick off and other business related cruises to Copenhagen from Oslo. Between March 2015 and January 2018, I served as a Key Account Manager, handling large and medium sized contracts B2B in both the public and the private sector. My job was to be the main contact point to some of DFDS's biggest clients and build strong relationships with decision makers. My work contained customer meetings, renewing contracts and presenting contract agreements to new customers, writing offers and following up to close deals. The most important element to this job was building long-term customer relations and expanding my network. Success criterias was to be where my customers were, often joining many of them on conference cruises to Copenhagen almost every month. Show less This was my first job for DFDS, as an Account Manager in the Norwegian SMB market. My work contained warm and cold phone calls, customer meetings and maintaining customer relations, writing and following up offers. The first year at DFDS, I spent planning and organizing the portfolio. There was a lot of work regarding the best practice on how to reach as many as possible, and how to be effective.       Kristiansand Dyrepark, in Norwegian reffered to as "Dyreparken", is one of the largest brands in Norway as well as the largest tourist destination in the country during the summer, with one million visitors a year. My role as Sales Manager was to ensure we were able to keep open all year by providing events and conferences throughout the year, and experienced a positive sales period until Covid-19 cancelled everything. In May 2020 I was adopted by the Entertainment department, and from that point in time was part of the daily maintainance and planning of the peak seasons, doing everything from building, fixing and maintaining the facilities and also been a point of contact between actors and the different departments in the park. This was an incredibly fun period figuring out how to ensure how to keep the park open during a pandemic in a safe and operational way. I was part of two Covid seasons where we still managed to break records and be a positive break for families during the pandemic, without any major outbreaks of the virus. I will always hold Dyreparken and its staff high, and I am proud to have been a part of a special time in its history. Show less
