HIRMEOS: High Integration of Research Monographs in the European Open Science InfrastructureHIRMEOS Project (EU Horizon 2020) focuses on the monograph as a significant mode of scholarly communication in the Humanities and Social Sciences and tackles the main obstacles to the full integration of important platforms supporting open access monographs and their contents. It aims at prototyping innovative services for monographs in support of Open Science infrastructure by providing additional data, links and interactions to the documents, at the same time paving the way to new potential tools for research assessment.HIRMEOS project will transform collections of passive documents into rich content by adding to them 8 types of data aligned with Open Science standards if possible, that will allow to integrate them with the other types of knowledge production in the open science framework. Innovative services for monographs will be prototyped in view of full integration in the European Open Science Cloud by providing additional data, links and interactions to the documents, paving the way to new potential tools for research assessment, The platforms participating (OpenEdition Books, OAPEN Library, EKT Open Book Press, Ubiquity Press and Göttingen University Press ) will be enriched with tools that enable identification, authentication and interoperability, and tools that enrich information and entity extraction, the ability to annotate monographs (Hypothes.is), and gather usage and alternative metric data. HIRMEOS will also enrich the technical capacities of the Directory of Open Access Books, a most significant indexing service for open access monographs globally, to receive automated information for ingestion, while it will also develop a structured certification system to document monograph peer-review. Senior Project Manager Open Science & Research Data

As the Project Manager for the Connectome Project, I lead an initiative to promote the reuse of open data across domains and to advance open data practices. My role includes coordinating the development of a discovery platform and an open data API.As part of the Connectome project, we aggregate and harmonize metadata from diverse sources, including government agencies, archives, NGOs, galleries, libraries, museums, and other open data aggregators. A significant portion of this data comes from the institutional archives of Swiss universities, increasing the visibility and impact of national research. In addition to overseeing the technical development, I am also responsible for the strategic management of the Connectome project. A key aspect of my role is to be actively involved in community outreach and exploitation activities. I am committed to fostering an ongoing dialogue and exchange with user groups to ensure that our offerings are aligned with their evolving needs and contribute to the broader knowledge ecosystem. This engagement is essential in co-designing the Connectome project with our Swiss institutional partners and project members, ensuring that our solutions are both innovative and user-centric.
