As an advocate for the Secretary and a liaison to other Department offices, I coordinate on a daily basis with a wide-range of contacts – from desk officers to security officers, speechwriters to chefs among many others – to ensure official events are executed consistent with the objectives, preferences, and protocols of the Secretary. My scope of responsibility since starting in this position has increased to additionally include the duties of aide-de-camp to the Secretary while on all overseas travel. Show less
