      Facilitator for the State of Colorado’s Energy Performance Contracting program; provided guidance to dozens of public agencies on the technical, contractual and programmatic details of energy performance contracting. Co-developed and executed an energy management and energy rebate program for Colorado small businesses, the Main Street Efficiency Initiative; managed program on behalf of 5 communities for 50 small businesses resulting in average annual energy savings of 15 percent. Co-developed and executed an energy efficiency program for small Colorado public governments and Colorado K12 schools, the Energy Management Assistance Program. Performed ASHRAE Level 1 and 2 energy audits and utility bill analyses. Provided in-depth energy education to public agencies and small businesses.       Emily Artale started Lotus Engineering and Sustainability in June 2012 and she provides consulting services that combine the technical and pragmatic approaches of engineering with the holistic and innovative approaches of efficiency and sustainability.Emily has an extensive and diverse history in the industry. For the last six years she has facilitated the CEO's EPC program and, through this effort, she has helped dozens of public sector clients navigate the EPC program and implement successful large-scale energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Concurrently, Emily has developed, managed, and implemented comprehensive energy efficiency and energy management programs for small, private businesses and school districts, many of which are located in historically underserved areas.
