      Analyst for EPA’s Urban Air Toxics Monitoring Program (UATMP) conducting GC/MS analysis per EPA methods TO-15 and TO-13A. Directs and participates in ambient monitoring data collections for specialized purposes relating to population exposure for the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). Task Lead for EPA’s National Monitoring Program SVOC analysis with responsibilities including: media preparation, sampler design and production, and site set-up.Areas of Technical ExpertiseMost of my 18 years of experience at ERG has been in the area of sample analyst, site coordinator, and Project Director for exposure investigations. Sample Analyst Analyst for numerous data characterization projects. Incorporates operation of multiple sample analysis apparatus for the purpose data collection for daily and continuous determination of ambient concentrations of pollutants. Methods used for sample analysis are well document and approved by all clients prior to analysis of samples. Samples have been analyzed for EPA, ATSDR, Naval Surface Warfare and other state/local agencies. Emergency Response and Exposure Investigation. Plans, prepares, sites, sets-up, builds sampling equipment, and operates vendor made sampling equipment for the purpose of determining exposure by a populous to certain pollutants. Reviews data for reporting by data preparation staff. QA/QC’s field sampling equipment for high data precision before and after deployment to the field. Trains staff on how to operate equipment and follow sampling protocol. QA/QC. Reviews data prepared by analyst to ensure proper quality procedures have been met.
