  Undergraduate Data Science Researcher

  In this class through the Purdue Data Mine I worked with my team to develop web-based RFID tracking dashboards in Angular 10 for Merck & Co. This project has given me experience in user interface design, formal presentation, utilizing Agile development methodologies, and much more. I took the role of Front-End Engineer with no prior experience in Angular, which made the experience challenging but rewarding as the project took shape.

  Purdue Industrial Engineering Summer Researcher

  This research position focused on Purdue Dinning & Culinary. It gave me the opportunity to work with a team to design a sustainable take-out program that would save an estimated $233,500/year and 909,700 plastic containers/year. Using Fusion 360 I 3D modeled the swipe station work environment in the dinning courts to help identify the best layout for the proposed take out program, including a custom cart to carry the containers.

  Industrial & Systems Engineering Intern

  During my time at Tesla my I worked on both the Industrial and Systems Engineering teams. My main focus was on Supervisory Control and Data Analytics (SCADA) systems. I led the design of a new factory-wide SCADA system in Ignition/Python and successfully deployed it on multiple lines. Additionally I built extract-transform-load (ETL) programs using SQL and Python to aid in factory data flow. On the Industrial Engineering side of things I identified line bottlenecks and cycle time reduction opportunities using Stopwatch and MOST Work Measurement techniques. I also created simulations of factory lines in Flexsim to answer optimization problems. Show less
