  I worked within the Security and Fraud Control Centre for the Royal Bank of Scotland as a technical specialist. My job entailed monitoring and responding accordingly to any alarm activations from over 4000 Royal Bank Group properties throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as those of VIP members of staff and high risk figures. I also liaised with contractors who required access to RBS properties and arranged any job booking and all key collections/access arrangements as necessary.   As Project Manager i was responsible for sourcing and putting together funding applications to help the group fulfil its projects. I also worked closely with the Be-Friending Co-Ordinator to ensure this service is carried out to its maximum potential. I organised and ran events to places of local attraction as well as on the mainland, managed the Reflexology treatments and maintained the website with regular updates and photos from events. I was also involved in various fundraising events and put together the Annual Events package for the Youth Section of our group.   In my role as Project Manager, I was the sole employee of the Charity and oversaw all aspects of its running. My key responsibilities were Sourcing and applying for funding, meeting with funders and stakeholders, managing a team of 53 volunteers, organising and implementing classes, workshops etc. for each of the groups, which help individuals with Learning disability, Mental Health Issues, Senior Citizens, and those who are socially excluded within their community.   I managed a Homeless Services Hostel based in West Belfast, which is made up of 16 self contained flats available for families or single parents with a dependant child. Referral process is made through the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and staff on site provide support services including risk and needs assessments, support plans and general housing support.

  Peripatetic Manager

  In my role as a Peripatetic Manager I provided support and guidance to the Service Managers of Craegmoors sites across Northern Ireland which are based in Belfast, Newtownabbey, Armagh and Coleraine at present. The services I managed are residential services which offer home based models of practice to adults with a learning disability and who can display challenging behaviours. My job was very operationally and project based, however I have gained a great overall knowledge of the sector through spending time on sites and getting to know the Service users and their families. I provided support in areas such as staff supervision and management, recruitment to include sourcing and interviewing of candidates, HR procedure support and IT and Operational systems training. Audit work is also a big part of my current role and ensuring that all legislative documentation is in place and in keeping with the requirements of RQIA. Show less
