  Project Title: Electrochemically Deposited Antibacterial Hydroxyapatite CoatingsConduct research on synthesizing and characterizing a bioactive and antibacterial electrodeposited coating and investigated the physical, mechanical, and biological properties of the coatings. Worked in a multidisciplinary environment with cutting-edge laboratorial equipment from advanced electron microscopy to microbiological testing methods. ♦ Revealed the interplay between the effect of deposition parameters and the properties of the coating.♦ Evaluated the mechanical properties, surface properties, morphology, and microstructure of the coatings by electron microscopes such as TEM, SEM, and DualBeam (FIB-SEM) system.♦ Established fundamental insight into the nucleation and crystal growth mechanism of electrodeposited coatings and simulated the crystallographic structure of the crystals.♦ Evaluated the mechanical properties of the coatings with different morphologies and crystallographic orientations.
