My specific responsibilities included: providing leadership and direction for Department management personnel; developing operating procedures and quality assurance programs consistent with hospital and funding agency guidelines; assisting in the development and fiscal oversight of budgets; overseeing patient recruitment activities; assisting Section Directors with the development of new business contacts; initiating and maintaining relationships with local governmental and community agencies/organizations; preparing reports and documentation for the Hospital and Department, funding agents, and other entities; and providing administrative oversight for Preventive Medicine Grand Rounds.
