      Within this role I was responsible for providing HR advice and support to line managers throughout the organisation, conducting investigations and disciplinary/grievance hearings and was involved in the recruitment and selection of staff at all levels. I designed and delivered training on a range of topics, including management development, health and safety, food hygiene, customer service and induction. I conducted monthly HR audits and competence checks against the organisation’s Brand Standards, providing support to non-compliant individuals and teams, enabling them to contribute to achieving a Green rating on the organisation’s HR Balanced Scorecard. I was also a member of the project team for the implementation of a new payroll system across the UK and travelled throughout the country training HR colleagues in the use of the system. Show less

Show less Within this role I was responsible for a range of OD interventions which supported the Trust’s OD Strategy. My role specialised in Leadership and Management Development Programmes whereby I was responsible for developing, coordinating, facilitating and evaluating a range of workshops and formal programmes for all levels and disciplines across the organisation. I worked closely with Lancaster University and other external organisations to ensure externally facilitated programmes were appropriate, comprehensive and provided local context as well as academic recognition. I developed and commissioned a wide range of development programmes to enable managers to increase their leadership and management knowledge, skills and confidence through a blended approach to development. I provided feedback and support for managers on various development programmes and facilitated Action Learning Sets to enhance their learning. As an accredited NHS Healthcare Leadership model 360° feedback facilitator and qualified Coach, Mentor and Mediator, I provided one-to-one and team coaching across all levels of the organisation. I am a qualified MBTI Step I and II Practitioner and facilitated both individual and team MBTI sessions to enhance self awareness and improved team working. As an accredited facilitator for the Aston Team Performance Inventory, I have a wealth of experience in the use of this tool and it's supporting materials. I am an accredited Team Coach with Aston OD and used this skill to implement Team Based Working within the organisation, following an evidence-based practice approach. I was involved in the design and delivery of a range of events to engage staff across the organisation in the merger of the community and acute Trusts, resulting in a new range of values for the organisation. Show less Within this role I was responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating a range of management development workshops. In addition I managed the Trust’s local and corporate induction programmes, providing evidence to the Clinical Governance Team for NHSLA compliance purposes. I abolished the waiting list system for Trust Induction, allowing new staff members to attend a Trust Induction within their first month of employment and increased compliance with attendance at Trust and local Inductions to enable the staff to achieve CNST Level 3. Whilst in this role I undertook a 3-month secondment to the SHA as a Regional Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) trainer across Cumbria and North Lancashire, training hundreds of staff in the new system and enabling NHS Acute and Primary Care Trusts to comply with national NHS standards. I project managed the implementation of the Trust’s Oracle Learning Management (OLM) system and worked closely with colleagues to establish the National Learning Management System locally.
