      When I first started at DTGB our team was smaller than 5 people. My initial days were spent scraping old bricks clean, and moving buckets of dirt. By the time I left, the company had grown to over 20 employees, and finished the construction of its first office and Wearhouse. Some key tasks I completed at this job were:• Helped in the growth of DTBG from a team of 3 to a company of over 20 employees.• Ran construction site operations including organizing all labor crews, setting thetone of the work pace, and developing a sense of urgency.• Launched DTBG social channels. Performed site photography and documentation. Consulted on the digital brand and identity of the company.- Wrote and helped build employee policies, field management logs, and company handbooks. • Tracked expenses, kept records of receipts, ordered supplies, and coordinated deliveries of key resources for job sites.•Created a company safety strategy leading to the education, development, and OSHA certification training of the entire staff. Expanded this to include an entire COVID safety strategy that deployed state-wide across all project teams.• Helped lay the foundations and build the Women’s Turning Point Suffrage Memorial in Washington D.C.• Performed pre-20th century architectural conservation and assisted project managers with preservation techniques on heritage sites and historic structures.       As a photo editor at Liberty University, it was my job to produce assets and content for the university archives and student newspaper "The Champion".We used a CMS to upload all relevant photos and images to the university portfolio and produced both digital and physical weekly editions of a paper that covered all sorts of topics connected to student and alumni interests. Every story we covered was connected to mutual departments, campus marketing, student activities groups, and the Dean of Students Office. Below is a list of key tasks I performed:* Lead a team of 15 photographers and journalists. * Dispersed weekly photo assignments, Assigned story coverage of last minute events, and worked with the University Calendar system to ensure stories didn’t get missed. * Curated, edited, and positioned all visual content for the largest weekly publication in central Virginia. * Prepared photos for both digital and print formats. * Taught staff training, classes, and workshops on photography, content development, artistic intent, finding your voice, and tech Q&As. * Helped document diverse and engaging stories for a unique audience of over 50k alumni and subscribers. * Photographed and documented a wide variety of public events, NCAA athletics, portraits for interviews, and campus activities. Show less As an RA, my job primarily consisted of working as an administrative assistant to the university and a peer leader to a dorm of over 60 students.Communication and community were the two biggest tasks that I was responsible for. This meant anything from sharing and circulating internal university announcements and marketing materials, to hiring and leading my own team of fellow leadership members to encourage mental health, inclusion, and activities into student life were normal parts of the role. The largest project I worked with here was assisting on a global contract for the build-out of several dozen office spaces for a Fortune 500 client.
