      Licensed Naturopathic Physician

The naturopathic approach to health is one of understanding how the body, mind and spirit work together to stay in balance. Uncovering what gets in the way of this desired balance is detective work and is accomplished with a partnership between doctor and patient. My mission as a naturopathic physician has always been to create a safe environment for my patients to explore what is throwing them out of balance and helping them find ways to naturally get back to a healthy equilibrium. I feel privileged to have so many amazing women, and men, put their trust in me to help them navigate through the twists and turns of life and maintaining wellness. This includes nutritional, digestive, hormonal and emotional support, and anything else needed to find balance in life.Collaboration is an important element to provide quality holistic care to patients. Working with both allopathic and alternative health care providers I have gained a depth of understanding of not only how to be a compassionate physician but also the importance of being part of caring community.Following the naturopathic principle of Docere – doctor as teacher – I have offered a wide array of community talks and workshops that have ranged from nutritional concepts to immune system building to detoxification. Other popular topics are digestive healing, stress management and women’s health, with a focus on menopausal support. Show less

      Jan 2008 - Jan 2013
      Co-Founder

Creating this network of community gardens in Great Falls Montana grew out of a passion for great quality, nutritious vegetables. Establishing these gardens increased access of fresh food to individual and collaborative gardeners. Abundant donations to local food banks improved access of nutrient dense vegetables to seniors and families in need. I am really proud that we established River City Harvest as a non-profit 501c3 to ensure a sustainable framework and ongoing success of the organization.• What I loved about this endeavor was watching new gardeners grow their first garden and become hooked on the amazing taste and quality of food that they produced themselves. Licensed Naturopathic Doctor

Helping people create a safe, healthy space to live grows out of my initial mission as a naturopath to create a safe space to heal. Health should start at home, in a toxin-free environment. I am passionate about helping people learn the simple things that can be done to take charge of their health. I do this as an in-home toxin detective - identifying ways to decrease dietary and environmental factors that cause the body to be more susceptible to chronic symptoms and illness. This is crucial not only to heal from chronic disease but also to prevent illness. Show less
