  Active full time role in the clinical care diagnosis, investigation workup, management of children diagnosed with common and rare pediatric hematological and oncological disorders at Mulago's Pediatric Hematology Oncology Unit including offering both inpatients and outpatients care, performing routine an invasive diagnostic procedures, preparing patients for ward rounds, Grand rounds and tumor board review in addition to aiding and participating in research.In recognition of these effforts, I was awarded am Employee of the Year certificate (runner up) in 2023.Quality Improvement Lead for improving and management of pediatric emergencies on the oncology ward including the maintenance of drugs and equipment needed for emergencies care. Led this initiative and received training in basic pediatric critical care through virtual mentorship with experts from Texas Children Hospital. Scholarly work from this included a poster presentation at the 2022 SIOP conference held in Barcelona.Oral presentations on five Global HOPE case conferences.Committee member on the Global HOPE Scholarship selection board where i participated in reviewing and selecting candidates eligible for scholarships under Global HOPECoordinated and led over 50 Solid Tumor Boards through working wirh a distinguished team of Pediatric Surgeons, Radiologists amd Oncologists as we discussed care and treatment for children with Solid tumors under our care.
