  I set up H.A.P.P.Y (Halstead Action Promoting Positive Youth) as a means of combating the negative stigma around young people in my home town through promoting their positive contributions to the community. H.A.P.P.Y also worked alongside Halstead Town Council to provide opportunities to young people and ensure their voices were heard and reflected in decisions made locally.

  MP Work Experience

  I spent a week in Newcastle North MP Catherine Mckinnell’s office, in order to learn more about the political process and the role of an MP. Throughout this week I drafted responses to constituents regarding policy and conducted a social media analysis.
