      Housekeeping Manager

       Produced and implemented Sop’s for housekeeping department in the resort. Ensures the set standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times and that this goes across the sub departments. Coordinates and monitors flow of information between housekeeping and other concerned departments and that rooms are allocated as per the guest requirements. Inspects, gives guidance to staff on assigned areas and ensure high level of housekeeping standards are maintained. Ensures the department operates below/within the set budget Organizes with the procurement office, for purchase of cleaning equipment, materials and agents, the best that the market has on offer.  Organizes in house training to department staff on excellent customer service to be at par with guest needs. Prepares Annual Housekeeping Budget for approval Responsible for cleanliness, and general appearance of the establishment Keeps check on stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, the hotel linen and staff uniform and in- charge of the department’s inventories. Advices the General Manager on matters housekeeping I hold certificates for short courses and development training at different times in the course of my career. I am a trained quality assurance champion by Tourism Regulatory Authority.
