  I take role in a lot of procedures related to medical technology maintenance and management including ,-preventive maintenance-corrective maintenance-periodic Calibration-installation (in some cases only)-equipment on-acceptance testing-medical equipment selection (by making recommendations based on need, specifications, and end-user requirements)-inventory (as per both Biomedical Engineering Department and Accounts Department procedures)-medical equipments reports recording by maintaining an organized file for each equipment under my responsibility that includes all technical service reports and all the required evidence that the equipment is functioning properly from the day it was accepted until the day it was condemned-Supervising the Biomedical Technicians and leading them with close and positive relations -Assisting HOD in leading the department to the best achievable performance with regular discussions and active meetingsSeveral Clinical departments are assigned to me and are under my responsibility. They are as follows:-Oncology-Haepatology-Orthopaedics-Diabetes center-GP clinics-ER-Clinical Pathology Lab-Microbiology and PCR Lab-Histopathology LabAll medical equipments under these departments and all new renovations being done to these departments are under my supervision as their Biomedical Engineering Department representative (such as the central lab project).I provide Medical Equipment Safety training to the clinical staff as part of the hospital's plan of raising the staff awareness of the environmental, health, and safety risks in their critical workplace, all as part of the Hospitals' EHSMS.As part of the JCIA-fifth edition preparation I provided Medical Equipment Management Plan presentations to most of the campus staff.
