      Currently, I am Associate Professor and Director of Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Prior to that I was a Limited Term Assistant Professor of English at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA and Assistant Professor of English and Women's and Gender Studies at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. My research focuses on eighteenth-century literature, gender and sexuality, queer theory, and feminism. My secondary teaching and research interests include film and media studies, disability studies, Jane Austen, material culture studies, and feminist recovery practices and pedagogies.My book Sapphic Crossings is now out with UVA Press.
