      I spent an incredible 15 months as the vice-chairperson for the Enactus Society in DCU.In May 2016, we were crowned Enactus Ireland National Champions and went on to represent Team Ireland at the World Cup in Toronto. It promotes social entrepreneurship amongst University students worldwide, encouraging them to look at their social problems in their area and tackle these issues using an entrepreneurial approach which will empower the people in need to improve their own livelihoods. It has opened so many doors for so many people.We ran four social projects during my time, HeadstARTs, Camphill Crafts, Prison Break and Well On The Way.My role involved the recruitment of new members for the society, ensuring engagement in our social projects, and organising and running new events to promote and increase our presence on-campus.I was the project leader for Camphill Crafts and was awarded an Individual Contribution to Society Life Award by DCU due to my work with the society.
