  Prepared for the arrival of our hospital ship, M/V Africa Mercy, that provides free care to God's beloved people living in Senegal. From Dakar, I helped recruit a total number of 255 people to serve onboard the Ship with different roles: Translators, Engine hands, Deck Hands, Maintenance Assistants, Drivers, Housekeepers, Mechanics, Welders, Cooks and few others roles. The Hope Center stands for Hospital Outpatients Extension. It's an extension for care for patients of Mercy Ships where they receive Pre and Post surgery patients. It's was a wonderful place to work to connect with families.

  In my role as the hospital informatics manager, my responsibilities include overseeing our hospital information system to enhance patient care, optimize processes, and overall efficiency.My duties encompass managing the deployment, integration, and upkeep of key components such as our hospital patient database, patient selection team application, and data collection tools.I oversee data management and analysis across various datasets. Additionally, I provide comprehensive training and support to our healthcare staff, facilitating their proficiency with our patient database, survey forms, and the patient selection team app. This entails developing training materials, conducting sessions, and delivering ongoing assistance to ensure proficient utilization of our systems, troubleshooting issues, and addressing user queries.Furthermore, I conduct thorough data analysis to pinpoint areas for enhancement, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to devise and execute initiatives aimed at elevating patient safety, clinical outcomes, and overall healthcare quality.
