  ● Research and Evaluation Responsibilities: ○ Implement GB methods and tools for community needs assessments and comprehensive baseline household surveys in selected rural Panamanian communities○ Work alongside partners to improve community evaluation methods and tools, such as surveys, town-hall style community meetings, and in-depth interviews with community leaders○ Train and manage local staff and/or external contractors for assistance in data collection○ Support development of database, including data entry and analysis of community needs assessments and baseline household surveys○ Plan and conduct post-evaluations on the effectiveness of projects in achieving outcomes○ Analyze, compile, and present results of needs assessments, baseline household surveys, and post-evaluations in the form of reports and presentations as required to a wide variety of audiences, such as program leads, funders, partner organizations, grants, and in use for marketing materials○ Oversees community selection and prioritization process for all sustainable development programs○ Oversees and conducts baseline studies on holistic model communities only○ Maintains mission of R and E focused on brigade/program metrics○ Analyze logic models alongside with Program Managers and Program Officers● Community Development Responsibilities:○ Acts as a liaison between Global Brigades and community leadership○ Mobilizes community members and community leaders toward brigade participation○ Manages and maintains all relationships in the field/communities○ Point of contact for communities post sustainable exit○ Follow up for all communities post sustainable exit○ Involved in maintaining consistency in programming via community feedback● Administrative Responsibilities:○ Assists Executive Director in hiring local staff○ Reports R and E findings, community testimonials, and other content related information to Program Officers for final review Show less
