      Operations Manager

      As Operations Manager I was responsible for over 300 staff across 4 depots, including drivers, supervisors, engineers and cleaners. I reported to the General Manager. I was responsible for preparing rostas, which also consisted of organising driving staff, liaising with the engineering department and consulting with the traffic supervisors. I also processed the wages and therefore had to ensure that these were kept within budget. Extra duties included conducting disciplinary meetings, and attending regular director and management meetings and monthly meetings with external organisations such as the Police and PTE. I was responsible for a team of supervisors and delegated work to them as necessary. Other duties included dealing with customer service issues and assisting with head office enquiries. I had responsibility for handling cash, vehicle safety checks, staff interviews, inductions, retrieving CCTV from buses for incidents that occurred and dealing with insurance investigator for fraud issues. Health & Safety for the depot was part of my responsibilities and I am also first aid trained. Show less
