Designed and executed their continuous deployments on Pivotal Cloud Foundry environment using Jenkins.Designed reusable APIs to covert raw data coming from disparate sources and channels into a valid canonical JSON format for all data flowing in to the system using Dozer framework. Used Nexus to store these reusable SDK APIs thus created. Performance optimization was achieved using Gemfire as distributed data caching tool and also as a mechanism to segregate database layer so as to avoid schema dependency for any/all of these micro services.Established the environment setup for SIT and Bench mark in cloud and liaise with systems team to facilitate in measuring performance metrics of all services and APIs. As a service provider this API was responsible to determine indirect taxes as response for associated tax invoices, generated by clients from disparate line of businesses. Using Drools rule engine and Apigee for API management tool, the service had high availability as its key nonfunctional requirement with RTO (SLA) of 4 hours.Re-designed system architecture of legacy monolithic tax application running on a on-premises infrastructure into a microservices using Strangler pattern approach, resulting in improved cost savings.Collaborated with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to refine product backlog, defect triage and sprint scope.
