  Under the supervision of Professor Silvia Regina Vergilio, besides conducting high quality research and publishing more than 10 papers on the topic of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, I also obtained experience in teaching and writing grant proposals. After submitting a proposal to Microsoft in 2017, I was awarded with a Microsoft Azure Research Award with the value of $20,000.00 to conduct my PhD research. This allowed me to develop my thesis with significant experimental power, which in turn was translated into a paper accepted in the IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering (TSE) journal in 2020.During this time, I also performed two international academic visits, one of three months at University College London (in which now I work as a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow) and an one month visit at Queen Mary University (QMUL).
