      The main objective of my project was to estimate the formation pore pressure as a reliable mud weight pressure using well log data at one of oil fields in the South Caspian Basin (Umud field). To obtain this goal, the formation pore pressure is estimated from sonic well logging data by applying Eaton’s prediction method. Additionally, I have worked on the Pore Pressure data that are obtained with the Modular Dynamic Tester (MDT) tool of Schlumberger. Finally, Both Pore Pressure data are compared. Show less

During the Summer Camp, each day specialists from each segment gave lectures about what do they do and then in the second part of the day, we visited the workshops and practically worked with the tools. Each region will select up to five teams to represent them at the PetroBowl® Championship at ATCE.
