  In this position at the East Carolina Student Recreation Center, I am in charge of the entire facility on a shift to shift basis. I make sure that all aspects of the building are running smoothly, including the weight room, customer service desk, basketball courts, and rock climbing wall. I am trusted to handle money on a daily basis and to make sure that other employees are doing what they are supposed to be doing at all times. In this position, I work in the main office mainly answering phone calls. I serve as the focal point of all information that pertains to the Student Recreation Center at East Carolina University. My main objective in this position is to serve the members and potential members of our facility, and assist them in any way possible. I was partially in charge of children ages 5-8 on a weekly basis for 8 weeks of the summer. I was often one of the main authority figures at all times of the day and was in charge of transporting and monitoring the children throughout the camp.

  Working in Human Resources has given me the opportunity to see a Healthcare system and all of its working pieces on a daily basis. Since I have worked at Harnett Health, I have had contact with every single department at some point.
