  Ph.d. philosophy and the mathematical foundation of decision making

  Activities and Societies: Had the privilege of studying under John Battle, who was a student of Józef Bocheński, the dominant logician in the field of mathematical logic. My first intellectual epiphany was Hegel's observation that reason cannot ground itself. I thought a lot and I partied a lot. Did my master's work at the Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter, which from 1253 onwards housed the College of Sorbonne, part of one of the first universities in the Western world, later renamed to University of Paris and commonly known as "the Sorbonne". Studying the philosophy of science led me to paritcle physics.
